First Pig Jig was a success!  Tons of sun, fun, and food.  Shout out to Ray Burns and Frank Portera for representing West Coast on the grill, there were a lot of good competitors but we they were able to take 4th place out of 28 for ribs!  Hoping to take it all next year!

SILICON VALLEY PIG JIG RAISED OVER $350K FOR NEPHCURE KIDNEY INTERNATIONAL

The second annual Silicon Valley Pig Jig which took place on Saturday, October 5th 2019 at Excite Ballpark was a huge success! Live music, line dancing, beer garden, craft vendors and kids zone kept attendees busy while corporate sponsors participated in a friendly amateur BBQ competition. All proceeds raised benefit NephCure Kidney International.

• Over 1,500 attendees
• 28 patient families attended – Two families from Chicago and one from Colorado Springs.
• 28 teams participated in the BBQ competition
• Approximately 150 volunteers to ensure that the event ran smoothly
• Core committee of 22 dedicated volunteers
• Live music from Haley & Michaels, Teddy Robb, Seaforth, Robert Counts and Chris Giles, COO of the Oakland A’s

• Local brews in the Beer Garden
